These terms govern your use of this website and any quote you request through it. Please read them before using the site or submitting an enquiry. If anything is unclear, ask us before you go ahead.
About us
This website is operated by Alpine Driveways & Drainage Limited, a company registered in England & Wales with registered office at Isleworth, TW7 5BD. When these terms mention "we", "us" or "our", that is who we mean.
Using this website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes — reading about our services, requesting a quote, or getting in touch. You must not attempt to interfere with how the site works, scrape it at scale, upload malicious content, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the site without notice. We are not liable if the site is unavailable for any reason.
Quotes are not contracts
Prices shown on this website ("from £X", typical price ranges, or example figures on service pages) are indicative only and do not amount to an offer.
When you send us a quote request we will come back with a written quote based on the details you provided. A contract only exists once you accept that written quote in writing (email, WhatsApp or a signed document) and we confirm the start date. Until then either side can walk away, no strings attached.
We reserve the right to withdraw or revise a quote if the job is materially different from what you described, if access is restricted, or if we find hidden issues (rot, asbestos, structural damage) once work has started. Any change will be agreed with you in writing before we continue.
What we expect from you
So we can quote fairly and work safely, you agree to:
- Give us accurate information about the job and the property.
- Confirm you either own the property or have permission to instruct work on it.
- Provide reasonable access to the site on the agreed dates.
- Tell us upfront about hazards we should know about (fragile structures, protected wildlife, restrictive covenants, listed status, party-wall implications).
- Pay invoices by the date shown on them.
Intellectual property
The design, text, photography and code on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish, resell or otherwise commercially exploit the content without written permission.
Personal, non-commercial browsing and sharing individual pages with a link is fine.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party services (mapping, review platforms, social profiles). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, security or availability. Check their own terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimer
The information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute professional advice for your specific property. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions.
The completed work we carry out for you is covered by a separate written quote and — where applicable — the workmanship guarantee stated on that quote.
Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England & Wales.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, for any loss of profit or business opportunity, or for issues caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you in connection with this website is limited to £100 in aggregate. Liability for work we carry out on your property is governed by the separate contract that quote creates.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example when our services or the law change. The version in force is always the one shown here with the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after we post an update means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and both sides agree that the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
